97-01 Honda CR-V rear disc brake conversion brackets. included with purchase is 10 yellow zinc plated bolts to bolt the brackets to the hub and to bolt the calipers to the brackets.
These brackets are made to convert your factory rear drum brakes to disc brakes.
You will need 97-01 prelude rear calipers, brackets, rotors and pads along with 94-97 accord disc E BRAKE cables (other cables can work, but these have been found to be the best length so far.) You will need a pair of 2004 Honda Element front brake hoses or get some custom made hoses 32 inches long.
This will be a moderate job and requires mild hammering and cutting.
Once you remove the drum and all inside drum brake components, you will have to unbolt and cut the drum backing plate off of the hub (unless you are willing press the bearing out. Then it comes right off). I took the opportunity to press mine and install new wheel bearings. At this point you will need to do some hammering on the trailing arm lip to fold it back to gain about 1/2” of clearance. (it doesn’t take much force and it won’t be seen when the job is complete)
Let me know if you have any questions.
